Dr. Brian Palmer is the original founder of Progressive Dental and has been practicing now in South Calgary for over 30 years. Dr. Palmer is originally from Lethbridge and attended the University of Alberta - graduating in 1980.

It has been his pleasure to have been associated with the South Calgary communities of Midnapore, Sundance and Shawnessy for his entire dental career. During this time he has witnessed the explosive growth of the surrounding communities and South Calgary on the whole. But he is constantly amazed and pleased with the loyalty his patients have shown him throughout the years. From parents first bringing their children to him in the early 80's to those same grown up adults now bringing their own children to him, it has been an absolute joy to him to be a part of their lives.

In fact Dr. Palmer is so committed to his family that he recently had the pleasure of having his own sons, Jared and Justin work with him for years as associates. They have since moved on to start their own practices in other cities. But it is this commitment to family and community that have driven him through the years to ensure that Progressive Dental and its entire team are as close as a family. So that when you visit us - you essentially become a member of our extended family!

Dr. Palmer has always been passionate about continuing to learn the latest in dental techniques and has always explored new and exciting dental technologies. He loves attending advanced training courses to ensure that his education is always up-to-date. And as such he makes sure that every member of Progressive Dental Team shares his same commitment and passion to learning.

In his life Dr. Palmer considers himself incredibly fortunate for his success and is always finding new ways to share and give back to the community. Whether it is his ongoing commitment to Charity Dentistry or Progressive Dental's ongoing commitment to Local Schools and Community Sports. Dr. Palmer is always looking for new ways to share with others in need.

But for him it always comes back to his first passion and that is Dentistry. His ongoing quest to give his patients the smiles they deserve and to see the Joy and Confidence it gives them. This commitment keeps him actively involved in Dentistry and will for many years to come!
